Recycling Technologies Ltd
Stand #: C6
Short description

Recycling Technologies has developed the RT7000 feedstock recycling process to economically recycle mixed plastic waste – that is currently disposed of in landfill or incinerators – into a valuable hydrocarbon product, named Plaxx®, with multiple uses in the wax and petrochemical sectors. Award-winning Plaxx can be used by polymer manufacturers to make new virgin-grade plastic thereby propelling plastic into the circular economy.

The sales and marketing team look forward to welcoming you to our stand C6 and discussing our plans for feedstock recycling in Europe.

Detailed information

Recycling Technologies has developed the RT7000 feedstock recycling process to economically recycle mixed plastic waste – that is currently disposed of in landfill or incinerators – into a valuable hydrocarbon product, named Plaxx, with multiple uses in the wax and petrochemical sectors. Award-winning Plaxx® can be used by petrochemical companies to make new virgin-grade plastic thereby propelling plastic into the circular economy.

UK based Recycling Technologies operates a pre-production RT7000 machine and has opened an assembly facility in Swindon, UK (one hour west of London) from where its patented machinery will be mass produced. The RT7000 is modular and easily transported to enable waste operators and local authorities to recycle plastics at source, including plastics that are currently sent to landfill and incineration such as films, plastic bags, laminated plastics (i.e. crisp packets), and closures.

The company intends to integrate into current recycling infrastructure and is highly complementary to mechanical recycling. Our mission is to build 1300 RT7000 machines in the next decade, to underpin our mission of producing 7 million tonnes of Plaxx by 2027. In doing so, we will add 10 million tonnes of recycling capacity in the system worldwide.

Some of the UK’s leading experts in engineering, the energy and petroleum sectors, waste management and commercial operations make up the Recycling Technologies team, advisory panel, and board. With an innovative distributed approach, Recycling Technologies has the potential to quickly scale to a meaningful global presence in the world of plastics recycling.

The sales and marketing team look forward to welcoming you to our stand C6 and discussing our plans for feedstock recycling in Europe.
